Zoya Alegra

Zoya Alegra, originally uploaded by kennasmomma.

I love this polish. The photos never seem to do it justice. It has a depth to it. This is 3 coats. I have recently discovered that Poshe quick dry works a heck of a lot better, than Seche Vitae, on Zoya. SV never seems to dry Zoya.

Nubar Fire Sparkle

I recently bought the entire Sparkle collection. I am so very pleased with it. I think Nubar might be in my top 3 favorite brands.

The Spirit of the Holidays....

Zoya Sarah + Northern Lights + ChG Mrs Claus
Ott lamp

...threw up on my nails.

I was still feeling blue and thought something blingy might cheer me up.

I posted a few pictures in various lighting since it appears so different in each light. In shade or artifical dim lighting the Mrs Claus is very prominent. Almost looking like pink glitter.

This is one of the few manicures my mother has noticed and complimented. Perhaps she notices most of them and keeps her thoughts to herself usually. Hmm

Gradient Mani

Gradient, originally uploaded by kennasmomma.

I have never received so many compliments on a manicure in one day! Customers were telling me all day how much they liked it.

I did this gradient mani last night. It was easy and fun. I used ChG Frostbite as a base. I added Zoya Ivanka first at the cuticle end, then put OPI DS Magic on the tips, then I used SH HD DVD in the middle to blend them together with the help of a little Orly Smudge Fixer. The smudge fixer smooths and blends the colors together.

I am loving these new foil-glitter polishes. Zoya's Sparkle Collection, OPI's Summer Flutter Collection, and Sally Hansen HD Ultra all have polishes with this awesome finish.

ChG Midnight Mission

ChG Midnight Mission, originally uploaded by kennasmomma.

At first I wasn't head over heels for ChG's Vintage Vixen collection, but its growing on me. I do love MM. This is sort of what I wanted Blue Island Ice Tea to be. This is darker and more interesting than BIIT.

Franken Traffic Cone

Franken Traffic Cone, originally uploaded by kennasmomma.

I lem'd this polish by OPI-Nicole badly, but never came across it. So, I decided to try and recreate it. I'm not sure how I did, for I've never seen it in person, but in my mind this is what I wanted. The orange freaked out my camera a bit and made my skin pull really purple in the photo, LOL

What do you think?

DC Drift Away + CND Sparkle Sapphire

I decided to add CND Sparkle Effects in Sapphire to my day old Drift Away Mani. Sadly, I did find that this Diamond Cosmetics polish did show tip wear rather quickly :( I got so many compliments on this mani after I added the sparkle to it. People loved it! A couple customers asked me specificly what polish it was.

You can see how the sparkle is duochromatic, blue to rose.

OPI Wing It! over Red My Fortune Cookie

I wore Red My Fortune Cookie for about 2 or 3 days and then decided to put 2 coats of Wing It! over it. I love it! This combo has sparkle and duochrmatic colors. It pulls red, orange, and pink. Grogeous!
